Default A strange day for a hunt....

but KT got to hunt 3 sites anyway! Rain and flooding this morning on the way to work and the possiblity of it starting up again resulted in the office closing at 2:30 this afternoon.

KT headed right away to hunt a park totlot and the kids musta been very active there over the past month as the lot was full of coins, junk jewelry, buttons and miscellaney!

Then a run over to the unpaved parking lot of that high school that KT has been gridding. Much of the lot was puddles but a run down and back on one strip resulted in one mem, 2 slugs, and a washer.

Finally the last was an elementary school totlot, where the kids love to swing on the horizontal bars...they had been busy and so was KT digging the coins they lost!

Total Royal Tax take for the day was 41 coins for $3.12...getting His Highness just that much closer to $500 clad for 2011. Pics show the collections in order.

Default ? for the KING

Question .. are your totlots covered with wood multch?
I see you also find bullets in the kiddie areas.
I am thinking maybe the bullets were shot into the trees before they were
ground up. Just trying to figger out why there are so many bullets in totlots.
Thanks .. HH

LOL Many of the totlots are wood chips/mulch, but I don't think those slugs got there that way...where most of my hunts are are in the "less desirable" area of Little Rock. I find almost as many shell casings as I do slugs...and the casings are not chewed up or distorted. In the Hood they pop caps all the time and anywhere. Slugs fall into these lots, and capping from the lots results in the shell casings scattered around in the mulch. Even tho it is agains federal law to have guns and be shooting in that school area, these hoodlums don't pay any attention to the law...laws are just made for breakin, and if they get caught..then they can brag to their buddies that they are so BAD cause they did some jail time.
