Default f2 question?

Does anyone know if the F2 or F4 works well with rechargeable 9volt batteries?..Thinking of getting one.

Yes they will but Dave Johnson (First Texas Chief engineer) advises against it. Says they don't provide stable voltage. Heavy Duty Alkaline is what he recommends.

I have several different packages on Fisher F2 Metal Detectors on my site. Feel free to contact me with questions or for a great deal!
