Well I had alot of trouble in the summer detecting around the rental chairs with the 11 inch coil on my Safari. I am looking for a smaller coil. What would be the best of these two 6" DD EXcelerator EQ 2 Pro or 5x10 Joey Coil or maybe you have a better suggestion. Thank you for your input.

I use a smaller SEF coil in trashy areas and it worked great, you do sacrifice a little depth up to about 2 inches.

I love my 6 inch excelerator coil. Sniffs out stuff the 11 inch misses all the time. Depth is decent. I dug a barber dime at 7 inches one time (in the midwest). In the right soil I bet you could get 8.
