Default Silver! It's been so long!

I can't even remember the last time I got a silver coin =)

This fellow was a first for me too!

I also had the signal for 2 other potential silvers right next to where I dug this one, but I ran out of time hehe

on the same hunt, I found a 1941 Nickel and a Wheatie that I lost in the trunk of my car before I could get a date off of it.

edit: also, this is the very first silver coin I've found that didn't come from the water. I was amazed (and I mean AMAZED) when I saw it in the dirt. I didn't so much as run it under water. It just cleaned off that way with my finger tip.

absolutely incredible =)

Very nice silver quarter! Finding silver in the dirt is the best site ever. Looks way way better than from the water.

Well, I went back to where I would have sworn on a stack of bibles there was another silver signal.

I'm glad I didn't swear, because I was wrong =/

I must have dug for almost 20 minutes and never found the damnable target lol

eventually I wandered down to the beach at the foot of the cliffs where I dug that quarter pictured above and found a 1943 Merc so it's all good =)

I also found (2) 1939 Nickels and (1) 1946 or so Nickel. Also I lost a Nickel when my carriers fell off on a tree branch. I think I need to find a better way to carry my finds.
