I agree, this was covered in a post last week but worth repeating. Bow season started here Sept.15th.

very important.a hunterorang vest can be had for as low as 6 bucks [pun].as a hunter a can say somtimes i get tunal vision.and its hard with buck fevor to remember the look behind the buck , before i shoot.
if you run into a hunter in a tree.just back out the same way you came in.dont talk to him.

yea that is a good point please if anyone comes up on a hunter please do not try talking to them because as a hunter i know some hunters sit all day like me waiting on that big buck. sitting in a tree for 10 hours just to have someone walk up and say hay didn't see you there kill anything. i have hunted for 30 years and yes tunnel vision when i see a buck so i know what you mean.

While in a patch of woods that anyone with common sense WOULD NEVER HUNT IN (completely surrounded by houses on all sides, often used by hikers and very much within the city limits/no hunting ordinances etc...) I came across a hunting arrow with the spring-loaded razor blades . I seriously thought I was gonna get speared through the stomach. ORANGE VESTS people. All the cool kids are wearin' 'em

Too many shotguns and bows in the woods right now. Soon there will be a multitide of high powered rifles. This time of year I stay out of the woods, unless I am hunting myself. I have part of my father-in-law's property that I plan on hunting during deer and turkey season.

Tragic, but that says a lot about our Marines, looking like a bear.

A fellow had been shot & killed while looking for a not yet dead deer. His friend was on a road saw movement in the woods and shot him. Near the end of November. I'll wait a while longer till the hunters clear out before I step into the woods.

Even with a neon vest, and a recent gunshot that should have clued hunter in that there was another hunter there? Idiots!
