Default upgrading wifes detector need help

I am thinking of selling my Prism V and getting either a silver Umax or Cibola or a Garrett 250 or 350. My wife uses the prism so it needs to be light and somewhat simple. I figure I can get $300-$350 for my Prisum V so thats my budget. Any advice or other suggestions is greatly appreciated. I should add that she will use it almost always on the beaches of Florida. Thanks

If you want easy and light weight then Tesoro is the way to go. I have the Tesoro Silver uMax and LOVE it. Only 2.2 pounds, uses 1 9 volt battery, and can find a dime at 9 inches. Good Luck with whatever you choose. : )

Cibola because it has a threshold. Tesoro Because of lifetime warranty.

I have the Sand Shark and like Tesoro as a brand, but thought I would try another brand plus my wife really likes the indicator picture and depth reading feature on the prizm v so that is why I thru Garrett intot he mix.

The Silver uMax is a very good unit all the way around.

Or a nice used Silver Sabre uMax with the pinpoint button.
