Default 1st and 2nd gold for Infinium today...

Hit the beach at 5am, tide was at like 3ft and rising... Been trying to get my head around this new machine, and the fact that you have to swing really slow to get deep/small targets. I bought it because it has ground balancing for my hot ground, and a 10us min pulse delay, so it can pick up tiny gold that other machines pass right over.

I think I'm getting the hang of this machine...

First gold is a tiny baby ring, marked Disney 10k, weighs... .45g! Not worth much money, but damn, I'm impressed, this tiny piece of gold with the big 10x14 dd coil. Tiny little diamond in the ring, no diamond tester yet, so...

Next gold came in the form of a silver earring with a big CZ, and 14k earring back...

I'm impressed, this macine handles my hottest ground with no falsing, gets extreme depth, and picks up tiny tiny gold.

Not pictured is the 50 bobby pins I dug...

Thanks for looking

HH

Congrats and yes the infinium has to be swung real slow. As you see though it really hits deep and on small items too.

Without a doubt, that Garrett is hitting some small targets. People have said the Sea Hunter won't hit small targets, but I have not found that to be the case. Glad the Infinium is doing the job you bought it for.

Default Congrads AKA, the infinium is a real tuff detect but you have come out swinginging....

Very nice treasure...Got to give you credit...your doing great.....My first encounter with the infinium was with Ron Lord in Naples...After watching him dig some craters then him pulling a small silver skull about the size of a 177 cal pellet... I was sold on the LS...Did you get the mono coil 10x14? Good Luck and congrads again on a great hunt.......joe

Ya, I figured if the Infinium can detect .3g nuggets in gold fields, it will have no problem on tiny gold rings/earrings/chains on the beach. I actually had the 10x14 mono on order, but I changed my order to the 8 inch mono last minute... only reason is because I have some high wave action where I live, and the 10x14 dd is a pain to swing through the water fighting the wave swash... I've read some tests that the 8 inch gets a little less depth on larger objects than the 10x14 mono, but more depth on the tiny gold, plus much easier to swing through water. I can live with that. 8 inch mono supposed to arrive today, can't wait to try it out... I can't even get into the water until I get this stock coil off.

I'll end up getting the 10x14 mono also, I hear that coil gets scary depth.

Whats funny is, the first 30 minutes of todays 2 hour hunt, I was swinging too fast, maybe 2 seconds per swing... and I wasn't hearing any targets. Then I really forced myself to slow down to about 1 foot per second (6 seconds per swing), and the ground came alive with deep/small targets. Gonna have to be real picky about what area I hunt, can't cover very much ground.

With the 8 and 10x14 you got the best of both worlds..John in Edmondson swears by the 8 inch...Has found him a many gold, and a good point on the larger coil..she is tuff in the ruff...

It's good to hear your Infinium is working out for you. I opted for the Dual Field and am really happy with the way it is operating in the black sand in my area. I've dug 3 gold with it so far (smallest was .6 grams, 14kt).

Nice finds!

Raphis
