Hi folks-
I'll be detecting the woods and stone walls behind my neighbor's house tomorrow. The house was built in 1695, so back then I'm sure that what are today the woods were once fields. I've only explored the woods a little in the past, and I found a musket ball, buckle, some bottles, and lots of scrap metal. I don't do much detecting in the woods or along stone walls, so I was hoping I could get a few tips before I head out there tomorrow. And in case anyone was wondering, I do have permission to hunt my neighbor's property. Thanks. -RR __________________ |

No tips really. Just hunt the entire area. Right against the walls then work your way out. Some people actually use a pinpointer and stick into the walls looking for hidden caches.
Good luck! __________________ |

That sounds like a awesome place to detect. Post your finds after you detect it.
