Default OK, you folks were right.

Went out for a nice park hunt today with the AT-Pro and the new Garrett pin pointer. Now the AT-Pro does an excellent job of pinpointing but once you start digging that pinpointer cut my recovery time at least in half. My wife gets more excited each time we go out and that little addition really made both our days.

Getting better at listening to the machine talking to me in Pro mode now as well. Whether it was a different part of the park that helped or the learning curve getting better we started finding nickels and quarters where before it was just pennies and dimes. Also dug our fair share of pull tabs and cans but we didn't want to be accused of shirking on our quota of trash! I'm learning that the ID for tabs sometimes is a nickel on edge with this machine. Clad quarters on edge also seem to read pretty low. But it's all good fun and it's such a kick to see my wife outside having fun after years of sickness. It's all good!

Good to see another Team. My wife wanted her own At Pro so we have 2. That is why I had to just get the PP that came with it. Yes I know the the Automax is not that good but it does work. I just hate that it is about as big at the detector it self.

I've been using my pro pointer for 3 days now. It's as important to have with me now as my lesche. Love it!

On the outside, it's difficult to see the worth behind that Garrett ProPointer.

Once you have it, it's a whole other ballgame. I'd be almost lost without mine!

I agree! I have a dx-1 for my mxt and don't miss it at all with my ProPointer. The Dx-1 has become my backup. On a side note, wish my wife would hunt with me. Those that have a team, are pretty lucky..
