Default Legend: Iron Door in Wichita Mountains

I came across this legend of the Iron Door in Wichita Mountains:

http://www.treasurenet.com/forum/tre...ges/1295.shtml

Then trying to find a better account I found an Iron Door geocache in the same area:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/galle...6-adf1342704b3

None of the geocachers report finding treasure.

Pretty interesting!

The iron door is one of the biggest treasure lies of oklahoma! Plenty of versions, non of them the same, and all of them pure BS.

Geocaching is a different story. I love to geocache when I travel!

Sounds like there are a many iron doors in that area, and many iron door legends around the country as well, but this geocache I linked is the right one, they just have not found the treasure yet, I know it!
