Default Colorado Vacation

Just checking in everybody. Still on vacation in Colorado. It is awesome out here. The mountains , aspens, and views are breath taking. I hope to post some picks when I get back. Not only is Metal detecting a hobby of mine ,but photography is to. This place is a photographers paradise. I am in Montrose, Co. now. This week I visited Canyonlands, Arches, Colorado Monument, Silverton, Telluride, Grand Junction, Moab, and Ouray. These places are amazing . If you can ,you should check these places out. Anybody in CO. knows what I am talking about. Looks like some potential places to metal detect out here. Gold and silver mines from the past are everywhere. HH everybody.

It's a beautiful state! I just wish it wasn't cold for most of the year. :P It's already into the 40s here for parts of the day, and I'm waiting for snow to show up in October.

I was out in the same area 2 months ago. Don't forget to visit Mesa Verde, near Cortez. We enjoyed the Durango-Silverton train ride. Rode up to Silverton on the bus & took the train back.
Colorado is one of those states I could live in, IF it wasn't for the cold Winters ! " S-N-O-W " is a " four-letter word " to me !

That's the problem, everyone in CO knows We have a very large MD hobbyist population in our state and those old ghost towns and mining sites have been pounded for years.

Colorado is incredible. Denver is changing for the worst, but I hope to move to Colorado Springs sometime in the near future.

Stay away from them "Rocky Mountain Oysters". My brother, God rest his soul, ate a dozen of them before he realized what they were.

Not enough time . We hit alot of places in one week. Did get to Atv in Silverton, through some Mountain passes. That was fun. Man the aspens were just turning and it was spectacular to see. I want to go back in July to photograph the wildflowers . Its amazing how many people no nothing of this place.
