Question Camera
Hello I would like some advice on some good video cameras so I can record some of my hunts, and video software I have seen some good videos on this site. I would love to do one. I found a old park today ,and its full of targets i dont think its ever been hunted would take weeks it seem to clear it out. Thanks for any input

If you know someone that has one, see if you can borrow...

Choosing a video camera is about like choosing a metal detector, many choices...

I finally decided to get a Sony several years ago, compact and lightweight.

Yea. Im looking for the small type hat mount etc. I have one but its to big. I plan to use the small one for water hunts also

Pretty basic stuff but if you're a Mac user you should try iMovie with the iLife 11 upgrades...you can make up some pretty cool vids with that. And if you're still toying around with a PC..well...then it's time to get a Mac.

GoPro cameras would fit the bill. I know many guys that use them. I use a Kodak Zi6 but that doesn't work easily for hat mount

I 2nd the GO PRO. But get the newest one will handle all conditions and all go pros can be mounted....

The go pro are affordable and seem to work real we'll. I would check out this site camcorderinfo.com. its a great site giving the cons and pros of pretty much and camcorder out there. As for software wise I would recommend Avid software. They have a consumer version out now called Avid Studio, I have their pro level media composer software and the consumer level software is built off of their pro level software.
