for those of you who coin roll hunt, and rim search your dimes....can you spot the silver? I wonder how many people have missed this one?....1920 merc

What is hard is to go threw a huge box of foreign coins at the flea market and pull out all the .4 and .3 percent silver coins, , , , I got 7 this weekend

maybe it was easy for you, but I betcha it has been passed by others...a lot of the silver I find in rolls is dirty or black like that

I agree. I have found some of those dark silver when CRH. Also, you have to watch those 40% halves. Some have the clad sandwich look but are really 65-69. Gotta look at the dates.

no, but I wish! I think there was about 21 - 1964's in that box.....I just love seeing silver on the ends and had to take a pic! My wife and I fight over who gets to open them..lol

WOW! Most of the posts I've read here lately said it was getting nearly impossible to find silver in coin rolls. Something to do when the ground is frozen this winter?

yes I do two boxes a week of either halves or dimes, just to pass the time....when ground is frozen I will do more, fun hobby!
