Unhappy NJ Beach Hunt

I'm up in NJ for a few weeks to visit family. I got a chance to get out to the Jersey Shore for a couple of hours today. Only managed to find a little clad, some keys and junk! The surf was very rough today, all finds were in the wet sand at waters edge. I hope to do a little better while I'm here.

That is funny PI Joe, but sorry joee5 I've paid my share of taxes here as a former resident. Taxes are the main reason I left NJ.

Yes, it was a last minute decision. I had to be in Pomona in the afternoon.

I was in Southern Jersey Saturday morning. The beaches were really sanded in where I was. Down at the low tide line I was sinking in the quick sand. Even the dry sand was fluffed up and groomed for the final weekend of swimmers. Clad and one silver band. The Gold remains secure in mother nature's vault. I'm looking forward to the off season and some sand movement. Funny! Seems I was looking forward to depositors and fresh drops a little while ago.

I literally dove for it, it was close enough to see but almost to far to snatch. There were people watching me at the time they were rather amused.

yea it seems like the only thing that was deposited was a ton of shells and pebbles, more sand on the beach than ever

If it is decent hopefully we can meet up another day

Sounds good, today I'll be occupied with family. Maybe later in the week. I’ll PM you.
