Well, they are phone pics so not so clear. But at least they are there.
A sterling silver award from 1923 found in my backyard.

Wow! Cool find. Where is your backyard? All I found in mine was rusty gardening fabric nails and other trash.

Real nice find. Now figure out who was living in your house in the 1920s. Could it be a relative or was it a previous owner?

Well, I know this current house was built in 1900 and then added onto a lot. I know the owner before us and the owner before them but I haven't yet asked them how long they lived there but probably not 75 years. It is a pretty nice medal for 1923. Maybe it is that man's family though. I might be able to return it... Then again, a visitor could have lost it too.
