45 min hunt last night

Last night my son, his cousin and I went metal detecting a spot here in town. They have dug up the old tennis courts because they are going to build a new skateboard/bicycle park.

I only hunted maybe 45 minutes and this is all I found

Well, I found about 3 old Coors cans also.

I hit the $1.00 but was unsure about it, so I called the boys over and let them dig it. It was about 6" down.

The peace dollar is sweet! I bet the boys about fell over when they first saw it. Most folks can only wish that they could make finds like this. Not to mention, recovering them in a 45 minute hunt. Congrats again! :yes:
 
That's a sweet find!! Congrats!! Hopefully one of these years I'll pull some BIG silver out of the ground.
