Default My first jewelry...and BIG...but....

But not real... I have dug junk rings before but they always came out brown and ugly, knowing they were fake. This one came out nice and gold and lots of shinky rocks.

I got a steady 81-82 on the At Pro and it was only 4" down. I dug and out came a piece of aluminum siding. Patched up the hole and started again but the same spot I was gettin a 78-80 reading. Redug and saw this in the dirt and my heart really started racing. The first time I was at this location I found a 1918 wheat at 4" so I know to dig all good signals here regardless of depth. As it lay in the ground I saw all of the shiny "diamonds" (25 to be exact). I was thinking I finally found a gold ring. 30 seconds later I saw no markings and the sides weren't completely gold. Oh well it sure looks nice...Maybe some other time.

On a side note I also had my first digger casualty. For $12 and lasting a year I guess it was worth it. Had a back up one anyway. Still wanna get a Lesche though. Thanks for looking and HH all...

Mr Bling doesnt quite fit Tim since it's my first one. LOL. Plus I don't think I can wait til Christmas for a Lesche either...

Rick it is a real ring just not real gold . Even looking at it now it looks so real. It's a good knockoff at least...

Just wonderin about that ring....does it have any markings?? perhaps HGP over silver? Are the stones prong set or just glued in, often a clue!

No markings at all King. I believe the stones look like prong set but you can also see them through the bottom of the ring. I think it should be solid in there and not see the bottom of the stones...Plus I used a loop and the "diamonds" are scratched...lol
