SOMEBODY HELP ME]
I hunted about an hour, had 5 pounds of mud on each boot and was about to hang it up when I found the 1903 Indian head. I could not leave then so I stayed 3 more hours and found these. 1920 Merc, 1918 quarter, and a 1907 Canadian large cent.

MY BACK HURTS. Good hunting to all, Merf

Great hunt Merf!

Yeah but it's the good kind of back pain.

I'd play in the mud for more than 4 hours if I could get a 1918 SLQ. I've been looking for one for two years now...excellent finds!

I think I can see a "D" mintmark on that quarter. By the way, that quarter is in great condition. Until the mint recessed the dates (I don't remember exactly when, but it may have been around 1920-something), the dates on those quarters would wear off in a heartbeat. Nice quarters before that command a nice premium.

Congratulations!

I just looked it up. If that is a 1918-D, and if the reverse is as nice as the obverse, it's worth from $70 in fine condition to $120 in EF condition, so it's probably in that range.

Yeah... I found a 1926 SLQ in the woods and it was worn down pretty good. Yours is in great condition! Congrats!
