Default Needing some tips

Hello again, on wednesday ill be going for nearly 3 days to one of the most exclusive beach resort south of Lima, Peru, this beach is nearly deserted beacause we are in winter, so I will have the whole beach for myself, I guarantee that I will be the only one detecting in this place, and I thont think this place has been hunted. I need some tips on how to use my ACE250 efficiently, I want to try to find objects and jewelry that was lost in summer. I know the ACE doesnt work well near water, also I wont be getting near it because its cold, thanks for any advice.

Learn your machine by digging everything that beeps until you know what the machine is telling you. With the 250 you have a meter to help you, but like all meters they are only an estimate of what the target is. I like the jewelry mode for dry sand hunting.

The ace 250 is a good machine, if the beach is untouched your liable not to be able to survey more than 20 percent of it in the alloted time period. I would work it in a grid pattern paying attention to wear most of the targets are located and working those areas in a higher degree of detail. Give yourself a lofty goal of digging 100 targets one of them is bound to be something gold.

Buy a good sand scoop, it's a numbers game. Faster you can dig each target, and get to the next one, the better. Disc out iron and go.

I don't have any experience using a 250, but don't only dig 'hard signals'.
Dig everything. Some of my best finds have been signals that were chattery or weak but 'firm'.
After you've tuned your ear to your machine, you can use your brain to disc out certain targets, but only digging the 'hard signals' will ensure you pass on good stuff.

Tell us how things turn out, after digging everything in the first few hours you'll be a pro, bring your pointer with you or at least I do.
