Nothing very out of the ordinary. I've seen purple, reddish, bright yellow, green, etc. Air conditions greatly influence the color of copper as it ages. It could also have been submerged in something that did that.

Yup, they sell "toned" silver coins with almost all the colors of the rainbow on ebay for good money...

What are you thinking? They tone them artificially? I always wondered about that. How come none of us ever see a silver coin like that? Does it require perfect conditions or something?
