Default Home from Melbourne Beach

I got in 2 hunts while we were down in Florida. The first day the surf was tuff and the beach was coverd with people. The current was so strong I couldn't get my scoop to the target. Took forever to dig the few coins I did find. The second day was much better as the tide was low and the surf was calmer. I ran into a local guy swinging a DF and he said they replentished the sand on the beach about 7 months ago. It was deep and soft. Had fun and found one 10k plated ring and a junk silver, $5 in clad and some neat toys. Still beats working.

A bad day at the beach beats working all day long. Good job on the clad count and the ring.

I hear ya, any day at the beach is a good day. Bet that ring got the heart pumping.
Nice assortment of finds Jim Bob.

Default replentished

The best time to hunt their is when the beach erotion take place,in the winter,i was a bit disapointed in May 2010,the same kinda stuff with a 18k ring, challenger explosion metal, 1 brass tack nail 1715 fleet, clad, but still had a great time, took the harley down, the salt air is tough on the chrome but the riding was enjoyable, here is a pick, all in all i will go back Earl

Nice finds. Which beach was just re-nourished? I am heading over that way next week and that will be a beach I skip. Thanks
