Default Pro pointer question

Today I was out using my pro pointer. It was working fine and then I turn it on and it started to make a sound like this non stop; Nee, Nee, Nee, Nee, Nee, Nee, and at the same time it was vibrating non stop. I went home to get a new battery, before I put the battery in I decided to turn it on one last time, and it went back to normal. Does this mean it needs A new battery or is something going wrong with it.
Thanks Jose

I've had my propointer for about 3 months now and still don't have to change the battery yet. Mine acts weird from time to time, but like you said, just turn it off and back on again like I do. If it keeps happening way too often, then call Garrett, maybe they will replace it.

Mine has made wierd sounds and acted funny when it needed a fresh battery. Try that and if it continues, call Garrett they have a 2 year warranty

Mine did the same exact thing last year while out on a hunt. I tried turning it on and off but it would turn off after like 20 seconds. Ended up changing the battery when I got home and it worked fine. I always carry batteries with me now when I hunt. Had to leave early that day.

Yup mine just did that yesterday,,,,,,acted exactly as you described and it's never happened before to me. I'd turn it off and then on and it would work for a while and then act crazy. I've replaced the batter but we'll see!

Mine did the same thing yesterday. Put a fresh battery in and everything is A-OK.

The battery finally went out in mine today, I love how it warns you when it gets low ! The battery lasted 3-4 months and it was a cheap Eveready battery

It gave a nonstop continuous alarm like high/low tone and vibration. Changed the battery and it was good to go

I wish it had some kind of beep battery meter like some metal detectors have.

3 beeps for good
2 beeps for ok
1 beep for low.

The battery will go out without warning, best to keep a spare.
