Default Whites Surf P1 Pro

I have a whites surf pI pro. Last night on our annual trip to Destin, the hatch came open on our travel container on top of the car and the whites flew off and hit the ground going about 55 mph. I quickly stopped the car and picked up the detector before a it was run over. The cover was off of the electronics box and the battery was missing. Other than that, no visible damage except for skid marks on the coil and the box was done. I purchased a new battery and tried to power it up but I get nothing. I too the circuit board out to inspect for loos wires and I do not see anything. Does anyone on this site have any idea on what I should check next?

As njal and Dusty have said I would send it into Whites... you could have damaged the integrity of the control box and it could flood...
