2nd weekend out, decided to dig the big stuff.

I went to a close by man made lake that covers several settlements from the mid 1800's. Since the lake was low, I figured I'd get as close to the old sites as I could. I didn't find anything really nice or old, but I found some cool stuff. Both of the cans are aluminum, one is of the pulltab variety, the other is a 7oz coors that needed a can opener. The shades are circa 1970-80's and wrap very nicely around the ear. The lead ingot is about 4 inches long and has no markings. I also found a few pennies,some fishing lures and weights. Not great finds, but I had fun and learned more about using my detector.

Not great finds, but I had fun and learned more about using my detector.

Thats the spirit dementiaseven, keep at it and the good finds will show up sooner or later.
