a few questions for folks who use a Vibra Probe:
how deep will a Vibra Probe detect an object? about how long will its 9V battery last? have you found the depth it will detect will decrease as the battery gets weaker? reasons for asking : from day one my Vibra Probe will only detect an object from an inch or less away ... I have been told to expect it to detect from 2-3" away and that mine may have a weak battery thanks in advance your your assistance Jim __________________ |

that is pretty much the conclusion I have come to ... I believe the fellow that told me 2-3" was (without a doubt) mistaken ... thanks for taking the time to respond

I think anything more than an inch or so would not be useful. I check the plug with the coil and go from there. I have always wanted to try a Vibra probe. I am using modified Automax V4. (freebie) It has about a 1.5 inch range on quarters.
