A couple of guys contacted me about getting a second hunt going on our rain date, next weekend Saturday the 18th. If anyone wants to hunt its good with me, lets get something going.

Not sure if I can make it. My boys have Father's Day plans for me for the weekend. Probably golf and take in a baseball game. I will let you know.

For me depending on weather if is raining I will not be able to make it and if is nice then I could be there around noon. Hopefully weather will be nice.

Let's meet in the same spot as last time, in the pine grove near the front gate. After you enter the front gate take the first road to the right. I don't think the turnout will be as big as last time but there will be a couple of us there.

Just a quick update, as we are going out to dinner, but we did hunt again today. There was a bit of silver found, a war nickle and an 1893 Barber Dime. Several people found wheats. I made a haul on can slaw and one nice golf ball.

Thanks for holding another hunt for us that couldn't make it before. It was nice meeting you Mike and everyone who came out. We need to set up another hunt.

Thanks guys, but I did little more than suggest a place and time. Next time we do this, Jean and I would like to do BBQ and a hunt. Both of us love to cook and we make some pretty mean ribs and brisket. We are checking out a few places where we could hold a combined hunt and cook-out.

It was great meeting all of you, in both hunts. Jean and I were both impressed with everyone who attended and it confirmed our suspicions that people attracted to metal detecting share many interests and beliefs. In short, they all have a lot in common and it was nice to share a few hours with like minded people. Let’s plan on doing this again soon; it is a nice change for a hobby that is so often solitary.

Mike had a great time it was really nice to finally put some faces and names to the screen names. I'd love to do it abain sometime soon.
