Default How do you beat a 2 silver day?

With a 4 silver day of course!! The Sox game was over in the 5th inning as they were up 10-0 by then. So I decided to hit the park again. I scoured the ground around the tree that gave up the Mercs. but nothing doing there. I decided to finish off the perimeter along the road on that side of the field. Overall, it was a slow day with a lot of trash and pennys. I did manage 2 wheats and 1 nice old Canadian penny. Oh yah, and 4 silver!

Those are my first "War Nickels" First Silver Rosavelt and second silver spoon. This site has exceeded my highest expectations. I think I need to research it further as clearly there was something here before it was made into a park.

Default Spoon

I'm jealous of your spoon. It looks like a great silver piece!

Way to go! For some reason, I really like the old war nickels.
