Default Beaches Charleston, SC

Got a trip planned there this summer.

Anyone know rules/regulations?

If you're in a State Park, it's up to the park. Here are the guidlines from the SC Park Service.

I live an hour away from the Charleston beaches. I have been to Edisto Beach and Hunting Island in Beaufort so far. All PUBLIC beach areas in Edisto are allowed for MD, just stay off the dunes on ALL beaches ! MD is allowed in the Whole area of Hunting Island State Park in Beaufort EXCEPT the area or grounds of the lighthouse, that is the only area that is off limits. The Park office has MD permission slips just to be on the safe side.
