Question Aluminum pipe VDI

Dug a section of aluminum pipe yesterday with my AT PRO, gave me a vdi reading of 90-91. Does that sound right for aluminum to be that high ?

Isn't that about where a can would come in? Regardless of what some say, size does matter.

A can comes in, in the mid to high 70s.

Almost all the aluminum I dig comes in around there. Most of it is small pieces of aluminum flashing, siding, etc. that reads as a siver dollar. Our property has had a lot of imrovement projects (and wind damage) before we moved in, and most of the scraps got thrown on the ground. (ARRRG!) I still try to dig it all up, though. I'm hopelessly optimistic. Curt
