Default Gold at the fairgrounds UPDATE

Well, I took my gold ring to the jewelry store and had it tested. It turns out to be 10K with CZ's and a garnett but I'm not complaining. At todays prices for gold it's worth about $231.00 in melt so I'd call that an excellent 1 1/2 hours pay. LOL Let this be a lesson to all newbies.....dig those pull-tabs and one of them WILL be gold! Good luck to all on future hunts. : )

I always dig the Tabs and what really irritates me is when the tab is anodized gold and I see a sliver of it before I get it out... Gets me EVERY time! LOL

i havent found any rings yet but i have learned on here to dig the pull tab signales....after using my machine a little and getting more used to it i notch out Iron and dig anything that gives me a good solid signal..if that signal is bouncy i normally dont but if its solid and consistant numbers on the display im diggin up some dirt

Such a hard habit to break, running the discrimination up. Gotta work on that.
