Default Help on age of item

I found a 20 gauge remnant of a shotshell. The headstamp is marked,

"Sears 20ga Ted Williams" It appears to have a paper case / shell. I tried looking it up but couldnt find much info about when they stopped producing the shells. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Turtlefoot from the forum is the expert on headstamps. I bet he can id that for ya no problem. The fact the great Ted Williams is stamped on there is cool.

According to this link, Ted Williams branding started in 1961, but I am not sure that is early enough.

Kinda figured it was a little bit older since I've never heard of paper casings and I'm no spring chicken. lol
