Where to start??
I have permission to MD on an area that was an old town. I have taken some pictures of the site, but do not know where to start digging. Some advice will go a long way.

Congrats!. I would try to figure out where the homes were and start around the front and back doors. If its hard to determine where these were, just start swinging near the rock walls and continue from there. HH!!!!

SS is correct but you can almost start swinging anywhere or so it appears there. Can you find an old map of any kind of the town? If you can Id start where the pub was, drunks tended to drop money alot.
