Default Hello To Y'all
Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie who has had an interest in treasure hunting. Have done a little research and finding there's more to know then first expected. Could use all the advice and help to do things right from the beginning. Look forward to chatting with y'all and possibly finding someone in my area to go hunting with.

Welcome to this great addiciton we all share from the Great lakes State of Michigan!

You have come to the right place for information. As for what to do in order to do it right the first time..well...there is no one cookie cutter method of Detector use as that depends on your machine. as for where to hunt..start in your yard to get a feel for your detector..then find other local venues that are ok with MD'ers. Schools, playgrounds etc.

The best resource is at your finger tips. This forum and the internet. Check the web sites for places in your area to see where you can hunt.

If you have specific questions please feel free to ask them as there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum. I read it daily and learn new stuff every day.
