Question Garrett Ace 250 Headphones

New "kid" on the block; my daughter gave me a used Ace 250 with headphones. Can barely hear the signal; is this challenge with the detector or the headphones? Or just another sign of old age. Input will be appreciated.

Unplug the headphone jack and jack adapter if there is one....is the signal loud now ? If so then its just a problem with the headphones and they can be replaced cheaply.

Smile Thank you!

OhioChris, you rock! Signal loud and clear. I don't really need headphones since my searches are on desolate beaches in the Keys. Thank you!!!
