Default lunchtime hunt produces silver and a first for me....

Well I have not been able to get out and hunt all week, and it was killing me. So I took an EXTENDED lunch break today to do some digging. Found a new site I wanted to hunt and struck SILVER!.. I started digging a few Zincolns and then got a solid Quarter signal at 2 inches and thought clad quarter for sure, man was i shocked when out popped this 1901 Barber quarter..Happy Dance followed..several clad dimes and zincolns later i get a solid dime signal and low and behold i see the shiny glimpse of silver, i was hoping for a Merc but it turned out to be a 1961 rosie but i will take it... Continued on for about an hour finding a more clad and few wheats(1944, 1958D, and unknown) thrown in there and then another solid quarter signal. Thought to myself another sliver quarter???, well it was sliver but not a quarter, it was my first Foreign Silver coin a 1944 Australian Shilling.. Man i was stoked...returned to work after that and hope to return to see what else is there.. thanks for looking and HH.

VERY nice finds!!!! Something tells me you took a little more than just an extended lunch break, that is a lot of digging!!!

Wow, nice hunt! I know you are way down south but I didn't think you were that close to Australia! I'll be watching to see what else you find there.
