Default Smashed my Eight silver coin record!!!!!

Back to the old carnival site where I dug 8 silver dimes and 11 wheats a couple days ago and spent just under 4 hours digging a lot of trash. Like most carnival or fair sites there is a lot of iron and trash so I was learning what weak signals I should be digging. Here is a picture of the junk, just so you know it wasn't all fun! OK, so it still was fun, especially when you pull a pulltab ring at 4 inches and you dig deeper and pull a nail and then under that at 8 inches you find the mercury dime!

Here is the haul today, TWELVE SILVERS! I was doing the happy happy dance today! I also dug 13 more wheats with the oldest 1921.

Here is a closer picture of the silvers including my oldest silver quarter and first silver quarter for the year. The thing I can't understand is why I haven't found any old nickels yet?

Holy Toledo! That is a lot of silver and with the price over $40 an ounce you had a profitable hunt. Do you use an E-Trac? If so do you hunt in ferrous tone at the fairgrounds?

Yes, I use an E-Trac and I have hunted in TTF mode some but not at this site yet. After the silver starts to thin out I think I will try going over the area again in Ferrous mode.

Sorry, no video Dave, I would look too silly and you'd probably just laugh at me!
But it went something like this:
