Default Off to the farm
Went out to a farm built in 1776 , which is two hundred years before I was born. I was able to find a nice 1797 british coin and a sterling silver pin before I had to go.

Default Off to the farm photo
Here is a link to the photo of the treasure I found at the farm. The 1797 coin was deep at about ten inches but the signal was fantastic. I plan on going back after I hit another 1800 farm I have permission to detect at. I don't want to bother the same farmer too many days in a row.

No. I am willing to drive a little north so a few of us could get together. I don't know the area up north as far as where to hunt, never hunted north of here. (Only a CT beach once with a member from here. )

Default A fun little hunt today
Found a Good luck token that had been shot it says on one side that it is good for fifty cents towards your first suit or overcoat. It then gives the business name which I am trying to track down since it should have been right down the street from where I found it. The nickel is a war nickel.

Figured the name out... It is Reed Kyzor co. 325.Main St poughkeepsie. I found a couple references to it online dating to 1911 and 1913 http://books.google.com/books?id=vP5...ed=0CDQQ6AEwBA
