Thumbs up Wheats, Mercs, War Nickle, Indian Head, and Rosies oh my!

I took a trip to see my stepfather this weekend and got a chance to hit 2 spots in WV. Results my 1st war nickel, my 1st silver ring, 2 Mercs, a silver Rosie, and my 2 oldest Wheaties 1917, 1919. I am happy
Sorry the pics are a little blurry I used my phone.

Great job...make sure you check those mintmarks on those wheats. A 1931S goes for $100+. Less from the ground but still a good chunk of change.

Way to go Hillbilly! You had a great hunt. Perhaps when I visit my mom and stepfather in WV in a few weeks, I'll get some good ones like you!

Default I found the same ring!

Nice hunt, that's crazy.

I found the exact same ring several months ago about 5 inches deep by a tree in my town. Hmm after looking I think my ring is maybe not as worn. Hard to tell. Still very similar

They sure do look alike pretty cool. Mine does have a lot of wear.

No mint mark on my 1931 Wheatie oh well. I just talked to my stepfather who borrowed my spare detector. He just found another 1908 IH and a couple more wheaties in the same spot I hit. I'm already planning my next trip there can't wait.

I'm sure you know your 43P nickel is silver!

Great FINDS altogether!

Now I forget....your 43P nickel might be an error coin. It's hard to see but you might have the 1943...3 over 2 in the date.

You got luck!
