Soverign GT and excal sounds alike?

Just wondering, do these two machines make the same sounds? I know this is a strange question, but i'm wondering if one makes more distinctly different tones over targets than the other...

They should, from what I have been told the Excal is basically a waterproof Sov. I've only used a Sov XS 2 Pro so I can't be certain though.

I've read and been told that they make the same sounds. Just yesterday when I was at Kellyco and talking about my Sov, Steve told me about a cd that a local guy made for "tuning" your ears to to the Excal's tones and said that it's good for learning the Sov's tones too.

I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it but hopefully this spring I'm going to try and head south to do a little hunting with JB and I can compare tones over some targets.

But from what I've heard, they do make the same sounds.
