My email answer to "restrictions" for metal detecting in....So. Fayette
You are not required to have a permit for metal detecting in Township parks. But you are not permitted to do it on the athletic fields and all holes must be filled in.

I just took a few minutes to stop in the municipal building to ask..."what
RESTRICTIONS were there on metal detectring, explaining how good it is for exersize and CLEANING TRASH from the parks. I left my email addy and before I got home, the message appered in my inbox.
