Once the dates are set I can know if we can make it or not. Depending on the dates you can count my father and I in making the new number 9.

The date for the Rockford meeting at the Clocktower is set. It is March 26th at 9:00 am. If someone wants to set another meeting in the western suburbs that would be great. Maybe the week before or the week after the Rockford meeting. I would go to both. I am ready to do some dirtfishin!

Hi everyone just signed up on this forum and am a newbie to all of this. I recently got a metal detector and did my first hunt right outside the house and found almost a hundred glass bottles in an iron box thing, not sure what it is. I live in Freeport, IL, like 30 min from Rockford. Both my brother and I are new at this and would be interested in meeting up. Even though I just started I'm hooked and want to do more.

Hunt will be held on Sunday March 20 at 9am. Anyone who likes to come is welcome and meeting site will be at Engstrom Family Park and address is 1298 Main St, Batavia,IL. Please let me know if you planning to come so I know how many people we will have. We will hunt at old park from early 1900 so there should be some nice older coins to be found. I did detect that place only one time for few hours and found wheat's, buffalos and some silver coins. Thanks, Mike
