After a few years of mainly jewelry hunting, I became very
ill. I lost the gold fever, so to speak, and I concentrated on
hunting with the Arkansas Treasure Hunters Club.

That means mostly relics. It was my best year for relics,

Way to go Tabdog thats allot of nice relics. At the risk of sounding stupid what is the item with the wire twisted through a tube? I found something very similar the other day but thought it was just junk and tossed it. To late now but wondering what it was.
Thanks

Man Jim,,,,,,,,

If you chunked one of these, you're gonna be pissed!!!
It's a friction primer for a Civil War cannon. They aren't
worth a whole lot of money,,,,, but a nice relic non the
less.

When I found it, the twisted wire was missing. I put it
on there to make it look complete,

Be careful what you chunk.

AWESOME Relics!

I love the gold for the money it brings, but there is nothing cooler than seeing your history come out of the ground.

What a treasure for you and many more to enjoy.

Thanks for sharing the finds! :)

Thanks for the info Tabdog. Yep looks allot like what I found except mine the wire was somehow secured inside and came out through a slice at the top.
Although I dont know what it would have been doing where I found it. And it was pretty close to the surface so it probably was something else.
Lesson learned though I will start keeping unidentifiable stuff tell I find what It is.

looks like one of those coins was a Cinco Centavos... I found one on my inlaws land. Where the heck did they come from?
