Default Gold Family Crest Ring Found & Reunited with Owner!

Hello All,

It's been a while since my last post, so my apologies for that. Just yesterday I received a call from someone who lost their ring playing football the day earlier in a Delray Beach, FL park. I grabbed my gear and called the help of a JBExpress to comb the area. After 5.5hrs of searching I found it about 1.5" in the dirt in this huge park field.

I didn't plan on taking as long as we did finding it so I didn't have my headband flashlight. I hunted in the blackness with only the sound of my ACE 250 and using my pin pointer, digger and fingers to feel around, I recovered the ring in the blackness of night.

I called the owner and was greeted with a huge bear hug and words cannot describe the happiness.

Both myself and JBExpress were very thankful to be able to return something so Dear to this person.

While on the hunt, I turned up a huge bucket of can slaw, misc nuts and bolts, 2 keys, an old antique watch filled with water (no band), several football equipment buckles, a few misc unidentifiable items, a crushed matchbox car, toy die cast helicopter, a 300 Magnum live rifle round, a small cellphone with missing battery and back cover and 2.04 in clad (only 1 penny!).

I will let JBExpress post his finds on his own.

Happy Hunting All and to All a Happy & Safe Holiday Season!

Yeah it was a really good feeling that the guy was able to get his ring back. He was so excited! The weather was also beautiful which helped when hunting almost 6 hours. lol. Well my finds were LOTS OF JUNK!! I had to unload my pouch 3 times! $5.83 cents, a few toy cars, 4 keys, a cell phone, a few junk bracelets, and a gold looking bracelet that is marked 14kt but looks kinda iffy to me. I am going to get it tested at a jeweler to confirm. It weighs 24 grams. If it is real thats a nice hunk of change. Well FL and I had a great time and the guy was so happy to be reunited with his ring. Good Job FL!!

Test,
I never said there was no compensation for our hard work, I just didn't feel that part was important to mention.........some things are just left to the imagination.

As the guy who lost the ring, I cant express my gratitude towards JBExpress and FL-Hunter for all of their help in reuniting me with this irreplaceable item. When night fell, I thought all hope was lost but through their determination these two gentlemen continued on to find the ring. Thanks again guys... I can't express my gratitude in words.

Nice going guys. Wow, five hours then into the darkness without proper lighting and still hanging in there. Way to go FL and JB.

I really like to read these kinds of storys, but this one is over the top. Dark, no light to go by, feel your way through, and find the ring. Man thats just will power right there. A big congrats!
