Default TH club forum(Admins, Mods, Members)

An idea for you all for your forums and website security is to use the save password feature on your internet browsers. This will prevent anyone using a keylogger from stealing your password... The less you have to type your passwords the better.

I would recommend using Firefox, as it is one of the most secure internet browsers out there.

There have been several attacks on our website and forums for CARE NC, so please be advised... Thank God for no intrusion... I had to disallow registrations and make everyone who wants to join the club fill out a form which is sent to my email address. Then i create their account for them with a generic password, and upon logging in they have to change it

Anyway be sure to utilize your browser security features such as the save passwords, and master password... make sure to write down your master password in-case you forget it.

Just a few DOS attacks.

Nothing to bad, I finally got the morons hosting our site to install a better firewall, and an ASIC IPS.

The DOS attack may have not been directed at your site, but at another site hosted by the same server.

This is true...
Either way we took care of the problem, and everything is back and working properly...

But the password feature on the browser was the main reason for the post lol

Good advice!
A good practice is not to use dictionary words for passwords as well.
