Default New to Forum
Hi Everybody,

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Ron and I'm from Pittsburgh. I have been detecting for the last 2 years on land and in the water. I stumbled across the site a few days ago and have been lurking ever since. I have two Tesoro machines (Compadre & Tiger Shark). I don't get out as much as I want to because of school. Well just wanted to say hi and I hope to add to this wonderful forum.

Welcome to the forum...I haven't been here long but have been detecting for quite some time. You mentioned school...high school? Its nice to have some young blood in the forum instead of just us old croaters. lol

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I guess I forgot some things. I will be graduating from nursing school tomorrow night. I am 35 years old and have been married for 7 wonderful years now. My wife actually convinced me to go to nursing school. Gee, a husband who actually listens to his wife.

I too am new to this site, but unlike you, I am also new to the sport. I will agree with the others that this is the BEST forum. I tried another forum, but firstly, and most importantly, the people on this site are so welcoming, friendly, and share their enthusiasm openly. Secondly the other forum I tried out is not very well organized. Hard to find what you're looking for, and ALOT of advertisemments on it.
