Default I'm so curious!

I have a lighter that is Windmill brand. It is shaped like a heart with red on front and back. It has a mermaid design on front and a braided string on the top. The box it is in has 1960 written in pen. I am insainly curious for any information on this lighter! Thanks in advance!!

I'm having trouble attaching photos, I'll try again

Very unusual looking lighter, vally4. Can't tell you anything about it but hopefully someone on this forum will. How does it operate?

First off, welcome to the forum vally4, nice to have you.

That is a beautiful lighter. Windmill still exists though it is now better known for making ruggedized lighters for field use under extreme conditions. These are not cheap lighters.

Windmill lighters are not manufactured in the US, but Essential Gear handles warranty repairs for Windmill lighters, at least the new models. You might be able to get some info on your lighter from them.

Good luck! Let us know what you find.

nyjrbethelct - if you look at the front of the lighter, you would push where it says "windmill" and it opens up a spot above that where it would use a roller to ignite.
