Default Carbon Shaft?

Trying to get a straight shaft for my Excal II and was curious what people think about the Carbon shafts?

How do they hold up in the salt water?

How bout the cold and heat?

Also, coil covers? Yes or no?

Thanks,
CTKidd

Wink Plugger rods

In my prior post i forgot to tell you don't forget a knob guard, and 9 inch stand for the excal, with the two or three piece break down travel rod,i am 6ft 3 so i get the 42 inch,my opinion is you want aluminum in the water, also his shafts the machine mounts behind your elbo for better balance, hope this helps you Earl

Default surf master

why would u say this?

" aluminum in the water"

maybe freshwater..........alum. and salt water hate each other.

fresh water / salt water have no effect on fiberglass, plastic, carbon fiber.

for years i made all my shafts from fiberglass rake and hoe handles, really worked great in the waves.............kinda heavy, but i used like a crutch.........now carbon fiber.....they have the option to mount excal most anywhere.......no one these days just makes one model.

just google anderson and take a look around......looking does not hurt.

Carbon shafts are almost indestructible... good product.
Just say no to coil covers. Use RhinoKote or PlastiKote...... RickO

Just bought one for my TDI Pro and I love it. Much lighter and swing-able than the factory shaft.
