Default Garrett Pro Pointer - - WOW!!

Was a bit hesitant to purchase this as it was $127.00, but all I can say after using it is - WOW! I was using a cheap PP and thought it worked fine as I was able to locate my targets pretty well. After using the Pro Pointer, I can not imagine ever using anything different. The old saying, "you get what you pay for", couldn't be more true with this.

The biggest thing this improved for me was my dig accuracy - Before, I would be making my plugs pretty big in order to give myself some room if I was off so I wouldn't have to dig again if I misjudged. With the Pro Pointer, if the target is 2-3" deep, It picks it up on the surface and so I can dig a very small plug and have it right in the center every time. On the targets that are farther down, once the plug is out, my recovery time is faster than I ever thought possible.

I normally do not write about products that impress me, but in this case, I had to make an exception. I am not exaggerating when I say it has tripled my recovery time. The fact that I can scan the surface an just pop out over 50% of my finds without even digging a plug is something I never thought I would be able to do.

Thumbs up

It's an awesome invention, I felt the same thing after I first got mine.

"Congratulations Grasshopper...you have taken the pebble from my hand"

Now you know what the rest of us that own this know.
I have dropped it, kicked it, and turned the switch on and off 1000's of times.
A tank!

Worth every bit of the price they ask and more.

Enjoy it!

Default Two Days

I have hunted with my GPP, and I too am over the moon. I have doubled my normal clad count, and I love how it helps with the popouts. I have had several. What a tool and a marriage made in heaven; The GPP and Lesche. HH

I went out and bought one from the local dealer this afternoon after I read this. And I too can say WOW! I went out and used it this evening before dark and holy cow. My plugs are smaller now and when I do have to dig a little deeper, it makes finding it so much easier.

I was blown away when I updated my old ass Whites machine to the Garrett Ace 250, wondered how I ever managed before, and again thought the same thing after using the pointer.

Congrats! I made the same post last year. Like I've told others, keep an extra battery handy. You won't want to hunt without the PP.
