I really like it when I can put some history to a find! I got out today, and I didn't find a lot, but I did find this ring:

It appears to be made of copper, and I am sure that is not worth much, but I think it is a neat find because I could track it down online! I also found a "no date" Buffalo, 7 Wheaties, 1919 being the oldest, and $1.02 in clad, and of course the usual junk

HH, Dave...........

Az - I found your ring in my Overstreet Toy Ring book. It's from 1950, made of bronze ( they say "solid indian bronze" ) and is priced between 20 and 50 bux. Made for Nabisco Shredded Wheat. Neat find, book was published in 1994 so prices are up . steve in so az

Congratulations on a real neat find! Great history too. I've been listening to gunsmoke on my XM. Real neat to put the two together.

What a great find. You did a good job on researching it. Some of the relics we find are more valuable and rare than most of the coins. Congratulations!!
