Default I love this kind of site!

Went to visit mom and dad yesterday and saw this on the way there!
Had the metal detector and wifey with me, so I dumped the wife at mom and dads and said in my best terminator voice, "I'll be back" in a half an hour. Well that turned into 2 1/2 hours, she was pissed, but I wasn't complaining any!!
LOL, I'll make it up to her.

The oldest coin is a 1904 indian head, the merc is 1920 I think, the Rosie is a 1952, and the V nickel is 1911. I also found a 1942 Jefferson war nickel, plus another 1942 nickel which doesnt look silver, and a 1958 Jefferson nickel. There were 4 wheat pennies too. Only 1 Buff had a readable date at 1937.

Enjoy!

The button you found with the bird on it is a reproduction of a button worn by Hessian Soldiers in the revolutionary war the eagle is called a teutonic eagle and the latin is translated I believe God is With us. Great hunt there My bad it is God is our Hope

Way to go Idaho! I know EXACTLY what you mean about the wife being upset. It's almost as bad as an affair.

I would take a whippin for those digs any day. Nice hunt. I wouldn't have passed that up either. Thanks for the pics.
